In 2003 we moved into a small Victorian property with a typical long narrow garden, circa 100ft in length, 15ft wide and North Facing. I set about creating a tranquil space in the centre of town with many fixtures & features that create different zones, for different days and for different moods.
The more I have grown up with our garden the more I have realised the importance of a green space to relax in, to take me away from life’s stresses and to provide a sanctuary for nature to thrive.
I feel people are becoming increasingly detached from the importance of nature, it’s necessary for our own mental wellbeing and to provide a living platform for both ourselves and the natural world to coexist.
Whether or not you prefer a modern architectural garden or cottage style space, you can still create corridors and features for animals and insects to visit your garden.
